Kourosh Ghouchkhani is a seasoned SAP Technical Architect with over 20 years of comprehensive experience in SAP infrastructure, Basis administration, and enterprise transformations. He specializes in RISE with SAP, with a proven track record of delivering over five successful end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformations—from initial planning through go-live and support—ensuring operational continuity, system integrity, and business value realization.
In the last three years, Kourosh has led seven enterprise data center migrations, optimizing performance and cost-effectiveness through strategic use of RISE with SAP and hyperscaler cloud platforms. His multi-cloud architecture expertise spans Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with deep hands-on experience in both homogeneous and heterogeneous SAP HANA migrations using tools like DMO, SWPM, SUM DoC, and native automation frameworks.
Kourosh has successfully planned, architected, and implemented S/4HANA greenfield and brownfield migrations across versions including 1709, 1909, and 2020. His experience extends to Fiori Basis administration, as well as installations and configurations of SAP R/3, NetWeaver (7.4 & 7.5), and Solution Manager 7.2. He has managed SAP landscapes running in HA clusters, and has deployed infrastructure using Terraform, supporting automated and scalable environment provisioning.
His architectural focus promotes Clean Core principles, ensuring custom code minimization, standardized extensibility, and smooth adoption of SAP innovations. Kourosh also supports CI/CD integration for SAP environments, facilitating automated testing, deployment, and lifecycle management across hybrid and cloud-native systems.
His technical capabilities span system upgrades, enhancement packs, system copies, backups/restores, OS/DB migrations, and SAP security administration. He has worked extensively with SAP versions from R/3 4.6c to ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA, across database platforms including HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, and Db2.
